About Jojo
Joannah was born in Sitka, Alaska, to wild hippy parents, who lived on a tiny island in the sea, on Tlingit land. Their little house had no running water, no bathroom (in Alaska!!), and a bathtub on the frozen beach.
When her parents went separate ways, her Dad moved to Maui, Hawai’i and her Mom moved to Bellingham, WA, and so Joannah was blessed with a large sprawling family (two families, actually!) and a wild childhood, moving between fishing boats in Alaska, communes and homesteads in Hawai’i, and her home near the Salish Sea.

Get to Know Us
Knowing that storytelling is a powerful way to connect and heal, we started this site as a vehicle for creative expression and to share stories with others, in the hope that we can find solace, joy, and warmth in this sharing. Connection is good medicine.
What brings us together and heals us in these challenging times is recognition and celebration of the many things we share in common, and letting go of the things which divide us.
Thank you for being here, hopefully you will find here some rays of light, some new strength, some peace, and of course…some love.
Love,
Jojo
